Fat Lady, Sing!
And with that, med school was over. Kind of anti-climactic if you ask me.
I MADE IT!
(Okay fine, I still have to take Boards Step 2 CK and CS, and take ACLS, but really. I made it.)

This is a medical weblog--a collection of thoughts about medicine, medical training, and health policy--written by a fifth-year medical student.
I recently stopped blogging, as I graduated from medical school and I'm now a physician in my residency training in New York City. But feel free to read and enjoy!
(To get rid of this thing, just wave your mouse over it. Ta da!
Congratulations!
Enjoy your 30 seconds off. :)

Congratulations, Graham! May your training be satisfying and productive… and lead to a fulfilling career. :)
Congratulations! I for one am glad to have one more almost-doctor as thoughtful and caring as you seem to be.
Yes, big congrats are in order. I, too, am sooo very pleased that you are now very, very close to being out there practicing! We soooo need Docs with your stuff!

Haha, Congrats and consider me singing!!
Congratulations, Machito.
So many years, so many hours, so many moments…
It has been a truly delectable experience to have been able to share in your candid thoughts and feelings through your blog throughout such formative years.
But you know what they say: “When glory comes, loss of memory follows.”
i hope you will always be the inspiring and exceptional person i’ve known you as.
There’s a World out there waiting with open arms for you. Go get ‘em!
Congratulations. And thank you for the single payer information you make available. I understand that you worked for pnhp at one point; I’ve been a member for more than 20 yrs.
Will you be continuing your blog?
Congratulations!
Hey, great for you!
Isn’t December an odd time to finish? At least you get some time off before starting residency. Better stock up on the sleep and time with your friends…
Cheers,
SF
Congratulations!
And I just finished my first round of finals of my first semester in med school.
Congrats!!
Hey – congratulations! I hope to be there someday…
Congratulations Doctor. Thanks for allowing us to follow along, via your blog.
Are you finished with required rotations, or actually completely done? I have one more “real” required rotation in fourth year, then it’s easy electives, foreign travel, and months off till it’s all done!
Congratulations! (from a Portuguese Med student in Paris)
My heartfelt congratulations! What an accomplishment.
Inspiring! Someday I hope to have a post like this one! I can hardly even imagine it now, it seems so far away!
Congratulations!
Way to go! Congrats & best wishes in residency. I look forward to readinga about your residency adventures.
Many congratulations again despite the fact that I didn’t understand the theme of your goodbye party all that well! The end of med school always seems anticlimactic. Everyone finishes at a slightly different time and they’re usually too concerned about starting internship for a proper send-off. We in the department on internal medicine at Stanford are still bummed that you chose emed.
