This is a medical weblog--a collection of thoughts about medicine, medical training, and health policy--written by a fifth-year medical student.
I recently stopped blogging, as I graduated from medical school and I'm now a physician in my residency training in New York City. But feel free to read and enjoy!

I’ve often wondered about these polls… if you TRULY felt that the government is the way to go and can spend your money better than you can, why not give them more taxes yourself? The 63% of Democrats that would give $500 more to help insure everyone… DO IT! So you might only insure 25% of the unisured but at least it’s something. Or perhaps those 63% are mostly made up of the 50% of Americans who don’t pay any taxes at all.
I’ve yet to meet an opponent of Bush’s tax cuts who didn’t take advantage of them.
